Join the Wisconsin Trust for Historic Preservation for our First Annual Historic Preservation Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, in Madison.
This members-only event brings together preservation advocates, developers, community leaders, and other professionals involved in historic preservation from across the state for a focused day of learning, connection, and engagement at the State Capitol. Participants will receive advocacy training, hear from guest speakers, and meet directly with state legislators to help educate them on policies that impact historic buildings and communities throughout Wisconsin.
Why is this a Member-Only Event?
When the Wisconsin Trust engages with legislators, funders, and state agencies, we are often asked who we represent and how many people across the state support historic preservation. Membership is the clearest and most credible way to answer that question. Limiting participation to WTHP members ensures that everyone taking part is counted as part of the statewide constituency we represent when providing guidance, education, and input on preservation policy.
If you believe in historic preservation and want to advocate for it at the state and local level, becoming a member is an important way to actively support this work and help sustain our mission financially.
